I wish I could be there with you, but if I am already booked on your wedding time and date, it has worked well for other couples that want my philosophy and experience to write and develop their personalized ceremony. That has proven to eliminate a major issue for their planning and has been greatly appreciated. They just then need to find a trusted and talented person to deliver the ceremony. I can begin to write and personalize your ceremony by you looking over these questions, attach your answers, and email them back to me. Its as easy as taking the time to reflect and decide; with them I will build your ceremony, as you want it. I will then format and email you a draft ceremony for you to look over and edit. After several email exchanges we will have created your ceremony, as you want it delivered on your wedding day.

  • At the beginning of your ceremony, is any one going to give you away, -father, friend, or another family member?
  • Do you want any references to God, Great Spirit, or Higher Power?
  • Do want any quotes from holy books - Bible, Qur’an, Buddha, etc.?
  • Do you have a religious preference, Native American, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, etc.?
  • Do you want prayers?
  • If you don’t want questions 2-5, do you want instead, references to a spiritual side of life rather than religious?
  • Do you want a theme throughout, nature, your friendship, love, dancing, blending of families, a certain culture, etc.?
  • Do you want to include others, friends, parents or other family members in your ceremony, to sing or do a reading?
  • Do you have a favorite author, book or poem?
  • Do you have a favorite song(s)?
  • Do want to repeat your vows after me or just say, “I do”? I have 25 different vows that can be used - I can fit the words into your overall theme.
  • Do you already have children? Do you want to include them in the ceremony, giving vows or a gift to them?
  • Do you want any other smaller ceremonies within the larger ceremony, unity candles, pouring of unity sand, wine toast, rose ceremony, etc.?
  • Do you want to honor someone who will not be attending or they may have passed on or had a conflict with your date?
  • Do you want to sign your license as a part of your ceremony or sign afterwards?
  • How do you want to be introduced at the end, Mr. & Mrs. or just your first names?
  • How long do you wish your ceremony to last, average is 25-35 minutes?
